Unwanted hair permanently removed - Life changing stories

From time to time I meet a client whom is in a very low self esteem state due to her facial hairs. The dramatic change once the hairs are removed is amazing. Some women confess it is very difficult for them to go out, visit others or even run errands while all these hairs are growing constantly. The main problem areas are the chin, neck, upper lip and side burns. These clients usually go through a series of temporary methods trying to remove the unwanted hairs and some even undergo laser hair removal, but these didn't work for them obviously as they eventually come to see me - NYE Permanent Hair Removal By Electrolysis. The great relief is faster than they believe it would be - within only a couple of weeks of treatment one can evidence a great reduction in the quantity of hairs and their quality (the ones that grow are much thinner and wicker than the thick, dark and coarse hairs existing when the treatment had just began). My clients express their happiness and sense of freedom, feeling attractive and self confident again - some even say it as if they 'got their life back'... My heart fills with joy helping people to feel good about themselves and reveal their beauty. They feel smooth, clean, and as strange as it may sound - light weighted - as if the burden of the hairs is off their shoulders. Not having to constantly be worried about 'those hairs' and be conscious of them (and ... having to plan your next waxing / threading / shaving / plucking when you KNOW it will go on forever and ever and get worse and worse) - this is what my clients and me call FREEDOM !! Free yourselves to be become the beautiful you!! With love, NYE

Time and again I feel as a rehab practitioner saving lost souls from addiction to ....TWIZZING !!! Yes, as crazy as it may sound, many spend lots of their precious time in front of that little (or big?) magnifying mirror, trying so hard to make those eye brows look symmetric and clean ("pluck happy"), those chin hairs to disappear, hopelessly cleaning the ears from these stragglers and the list is long ... The addiction is so deep and strong, that when I notify my clients that once they start their PERMANENT HAIR REMOVAL treatment they are no longer 'allowed' to pluck, they get somewhat terrified because 'how could they go on with those hairs on their faces / ears / neck etc'? That is one of the reasons why it is recommended and so important to visit Your Electrologist on a more frequent basis at the beginning of the treatment process (which consists of numerous sessions) so in this way the client can overcome hers / his addiction of constantly touching and being so conscious of the unwanted hairs and trying to remove them with inadequate temporary methods. These temporary methods (did I mention TWEEZING???) not only do NOT serve the purpose but in fact cause the opposite than intended: they actually cause stimulation to the hair follicle and root and the new hair (that inadvertently WILL grow as no action was actually taken to eliminate the hairs rather than only remove them temporarily) will grow darker and coarser. Another issue with TWEEZING is the usage of soiled instruments (the tweezers). Your tweezers are kept in that cabinet / drawer at your bathroom, being used again and again without any proper sanitation / sterilization and thus causing skin infections each time you poke your skin - which happens when you try to get those really short hairs.... Since this is a vicious never-ending cycle, the only solution to get rid for once and for all from this problem is to eliminate the hairs PERMANENTLY.
Who dared to say "NO PAIN NO GAIN" ?

Na ah, not in my school !I believe strongly in avoiding pain and discomfort when possible, even if minor. Why not let yourself relax and enjoy the break from your hectic day (or if the treatment is at the end of the day, just rest from it), listen to the soft music, close your eyes under a refreshing cucumber eye compress (instead of the conventional eye cover)? With my acquired variety of anesthetics, my clients are literally able to sleep while having their unwanted hairs removed. Upon request (and I definitely offer to each and every one of my clients the option before the session starts) the appropriate anesthetics is applied. It can be as light as the fast-offset topical solution which is suitable for facial areas mostly (upper lip, eye brows). Its effectiveness expires fast (but can be re-applied as needed during the session). Or it can be stronger, climbing through levels of strengths of anesthetics, going all the way to "super numbing" - still cream but much stronger and last longer. This one is used mostly for bikinis and genital areas where the sensitivity is greater, even though some clients like to apply to arm pits or neck (sometimes these areas are more sensitive too), if they feel they need the comfort of numbing these areas while treated. The latter I use for my permanent makeup procedures, so now you understand that it must work or else ...:) It needs to be applied an hour before treatment, but I find that for electrolysis treatments (versus permanent makeup procedures), 30-40 minutes are suffice to get the area numbed. Some clients prefer to purchase from me the anesthetics in order to pre-apply before arrival, so they are already prepared. So don't let pain come to mind when thinking of electrolysis treatments, not in our times and not in my practice.... With love, happiness and serenity - Your Electrologist

As a natural successor to my last post, this post will start a discussion about the connection between permanent hair removal and arts, AKA "The Art Of Hair Removal". As a practicing electrologist, I always feel satisfied and complete when an area of unwanted hairs is cleared from my patron's body. The relaxed, happy and glowing look on the patron's face after the treatment reveals their inner beauty that was blocked from site as the frustration from the undesired hairs was too strong to hide. Exposed to art on my day to day life, married to one-of-a-kind artist; Tal Dvir , my sense of art grew stronger, and so I decided to share these feelings with my clients and started a mini gallery in within my clinic. My clients are privileged to enjoy original fine art, real master pieces, while I perform my own art removing their unwanted hairs. Along with the super relaxed atmosphere: soft classical music, scented oils burning and coziness everywhere, I succeed providing my patrons with the best experience while reaching their goal of becoming smoother, more confident and complete with themselves and their looks. I like playing the role of an art museum curator, changing the exhibition once in a while, either after a painting has been bought (yes, they are for sale in my office as well as through the artist's web site: www.taldvir.com), or when a new painting is completed by my "in-house artist" . The topics and media are of my favorite ones, of course; landscapes, figures and still life - oil on canvas. The paintings hanging in my clinic inspire me to provide the excellence in the profession of permanent hair removal by electrolysis - and thus to achieve higher levels of beauty and art. The artistic atmosphere surrounding my clinic and the beautiful spa in which it is located - Yamis Skin Care - is so inspiring that clients are always smiling, relaxed and content. Beauty DOES change the world...
Reshaping eye brows – reveal the REAL YOU !

Most of us already know how important are our eye brows to show our expressions. The human definition of beauty and aesthetics is derived from symmetrical lines. The more symmetrical - the more attractive your face is – and vice versa…. And so, for the same exact reason, women (and men too...;] ) all over the world have been removing unwanted eye brows hairs for thousands of years. Several types of hair removal methods have been (and still are) used – plucking, tweezing, threading, waxing and for the last 130 years now – permanently removing those undesired hairs - with ELECTROLYSIS of course. We also know that with the exception of ELECTROLYSIS - the only method of permanently removing hairs, all other methods are temporary and the hairs will grow back. The endless cycle of removing hairs is on the roll. But what most of us DO NOT know is that the 'WANTED' hairs (those which outline expressions) might be ‘mistakenly’ removed (either by an impatient “threader” / “waxer” or by a miserable own try to achieve the symmetrical goal mentioned above), and then they might NOT EVER grow back to correct the problem, thus leave us with eye brows with “holes” or eye brows thinner than desired. In worse cases – with no eye brows at all. (Sadly enough and as expected – the UNDESIRED hairs (those above and below the eye brows outline) will always grow back if temporary methods are used to remove them). This can be fixed by either daily drawing eye brows, and again – trying to achieve the symmetrical goal time and again, or by getting permanent make up tattoo. Recommended warmly, still need to find a professional who knows the art well as no mistakes are permitted… OK, so now you also know the dangers of temporary shaping your eye brows. What you want to do is find an excellent electrologist (see my post http://www.yourelectrologist.com/blog/i ... ] “How to Choose Your Electrologist?” [/url]) who knows the art of shaping eye brows and matching them to your face and personality and reshape your eye brows carefully and permanently so no mistakes will be made ever again.
